Creative Connection Space

Calling all organizers, activists, and community members who wanna get involved in local initiatives! 

Join Basically Wonderful & Orlando Artivism at Downtown Credo for our Creative Connection Space on April 24th from 6-9PM!  We’re bringing together local grassroots organizations and initiatives for a chance to network with each other and connect with our community members. We’re creating a casual creative environment that encourages organic connection, resource sharing, artistic expression, and friendship building.

Spend time with our friends from Florida Access Network, CFL Queers for Palestine, Healing Our Homeland, Central Florida Mutual Aid, Neighborhood Fridge, & Blue Trunk Community Network – and create art together while chatting about how to support each other’s work and passions! We’re encouraging all participants to use whatever art medium feels most comfy for them – feel free to bring your own supplies, or use ours! We’ll be providing a wide array of art supplies, from coloring books to bracelet-making materials to watercolors and more!

Light bites will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase from Credo. Masks are strongly encouraged, and we will have masks available for anyone who cannot bring their own.

Anyone is welcome to join us for this event (this space is family friendly!), and there is no cost to participate. If you could use financial assistance with access to transportation to/from the event, please reach out to coordinate with us as we don’t want money to be a barrier for anyone wanting to participate. Transportation & Parking Instructions for Downtown Credo:

Downtown Credo is located at 885 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL, 32801

Parking is available at NORA Apartments (899 N Orange Ave) – it’s $2 per hour to park in their garage. There is also street parking available along N Orange Ave, E Marks St, & N Magnolia Ave.

For both Route 102 & Route 61 – N Orange Ave and W Marks St.
